Our Story
My name is Shaad Khan
Your average kid from Mumbai with ₹0.14 in his Gpay, who went on to making a $200K/yr Content Agency with 70% profit margins at age 17.
Let’s see how I got here..
Hi, my name is Shaad Khan, born and brought up in a typical middle-class family in Mumbai, India.
The Story starts in 2019 with 13 year old shaad watching Logan Paul Vlogs and absolutely binging all his videos, being fascinated over the fact that he was able to cultivate such a cult like audience independently, with 0 support from anyone, he recorded himself, edited it himself, uploaded it on a FREE platform called youtube and got 100s of millions of views.
So this 13 year old kid started making youtube videos and tiktoks in the hope of becoming a viral sensation...
Yep, as expected, It was a shit-show resulting in my school peers making a couple of Instagram groups with the sole purpose of putting memes about "shaad" and how cringe he is.
*which tbh looking back was pretty fair, the tiktoks were quite questionable*
But, I never let that get to me, I had this burning desire and passion to just CREATE something, something of my own, something of actual value and respect.
So I continued... made a new channel,
here I tried daily vlogging for 30 days & crazy airrack style videos 👇
Couple more things that i had tried from 2019 - 2021... (Age 14-17)
Had a minecraft yt channel
Tried vlogging like mumbaiker nikhil
Made 90+ Very embarrassing tiktoks
Youtube news videos
100+ reaction shorts on a diff channel
Started a Podcast on Spotify
Basically i have tried and tested every possible yt niche with 0 success in any,i even remember making cooking videos ffs!
But Eventually, I realised that I needed money to continue making YouTube videos. I couldn't rely on my parents to buy me camera gear and equipment.
Even if they wanted to, they were just not capable of it. They couldn't babysit me for my entire life; I had to earn my own money eventually to buy and do whatever i want.
If not, I would have had to go to college, get a job, to support me and my parents. My father and mother can't really work 9-9 jobs for their entire lives, so they just couldn't afford to allow me to make youtube videos all my life without any money coming in.
They would have had to force me to finish graduation to be able to get a job to support myself and them, but going though a graduation degree according to me is a total waste of time and money.
(If you have a lot of money and time, college is a great place to enjoy yourself. I always had some other goals in mind, which the people in any college wont resonate with at all.)
Anyways, as you can see above that's my 3 year set-up transition from age 13-16 where I tried and failed with multiple ventures.
tried freelance video editing from kinemaster (failed).
tried freelance graphic design on my $150 android phone (failed).
tried “make money online from mobile” youtube videos (failed).
flipped things on OLX (success).
I had a blog website where I wrote articles for 1 year (failed).
I made tiktoks, daily youtube vlogs, reels from age 13-16 (failed).
turned 30K which i made from flipping things on olx into 1.2 lakh in the stock market during covid (success).
lost 50K in 1 hour in the option trading a stock in 2021 (failed).
lost Rs50K in a shitty crypto coin (failed 2021).
did 4 month of FREE Internships in different companies as a social media manager, cameraman + editor(doing 12 hour work days for free), joined clubs so that i gain experience and certificates to apply for ivy league colleges (absolute waste of time and traveling money).
Got a Job at BeerBicep’s company called “level” made reels for their instagram for 1 month got paid 5,000rs (success).
dropshipping tried it with 3 stores, probably made $500 profit in 2 yrs of dropshipping, had to invest a lot to get started each time, it is not for beginners.(success).
Contentdrivenleads (failed).
Affiliate marketing on amazon, made $300 making product review in india that looked similar to the ones listed in US(success).
YCCA Rs80,000 video editing course with guaranteed job (failed).
At around this time I was 16 absolutely lost about what to do, youtube wasnt working out for me neither anything else seemed tangable enough to pursue.
But then I had started to get an idea that these big youtubers who make a shit ton of money each month, they are probably not sitting 12 hours each day editing their own videos, they probably pay their editors a lot of money as well!
and guess what? whats the 1st thing i obsessed over after getting my PC from my stock market money, it was to make the best youtube videos possible through video editing, I wanted my videos to look like the biggest and best youtubers out there!
I remember attending zoom classes on my sister’s laptop and learning how to edit on My PC parallely.
I was putting in 5-12 hour days for 2 years straight to master the SKILL of editing + 1 year of editing on kinemaster, approaching clients, putting out 500 cold emails to youtubers, Just going all in on this 1 idea of“helping youtubers make the best youtube videos possible.”
IT WORKED.
I cracked the code to getting clients, registered a company bundle-media.co, hired and trained a bunch of editors. boom.
THAT IS ALL I NEEDED to look at my bank balance increase every single day,
making $12k every month as a 16-year-old, which was convincing enough for my parents to let me dropout
I was making more money as a 17 year old than I knew what to do with...
and naturally went and upgraded some stuff.
re-did my entire set-up (₹5L)
got an office with 15 high-end PCs for me and the team of 15 (₹30L+)
Gifted my mom her first real diamond set (₹priceless)
also got some random shit like these really fancy running shoes. (₹25K)
and on a random tuesday afternoon decided to buy this electric cycle cause I had absolutely nothing to do.
and even after ALL OF THIS, I ended up saving ₹36L in my investment portfolio as a 17-year-old.
A Company & Vision
shaadfoundation.org operates with a single mission, expanded from my own i.e.
to make a better education system
by providing practical real-life skills & business knowledge.
I’ve made a commitment to take 10% of yearly company profits & put the money straight towards providing scholarships and equipment to underprivileged individuals residing in tier 3 and tier 4 cities in India who are unfortunate to keep up with the fast-paced global economy. In-short bringing good WiFi connection with a Computer in as many Houses as we possibly can, and potentially build schools with a revised course and curriculum that practically helps in building a life of abundance.
Unfinished Business
It’s been one hell of a ride, but I’ve only just started. shaadfoundation.org, is going to explode – and there’s one person I want to grow with it YOU.
Now that I and my parents felt settled,
I decided to return back to my first love YouTube. (This was 2022)
Made a new channel started uploading some bangers.
within 2 months I gained about 1k subscribers... I had this thing called thebtwcult with 300+ members from all over the world, where everybody had to add "btw" at the end of their instagram username, it was pretty cool
SO YEA, it was pretty clear that my money was sorted
My videos were so revealing that it spawned 5+ other "Bundle-Media copies" in front of my eyes, and they were printing $3k-$7k/m each, people would rip off and copy my entire websites, copy my portfolios, try to poach my clients, and editors.
I could have easily closed Bundle-Media,
taken them as case studies, and launched a course.
But I got scared instead. Scared about being robbed off the only thing that had ever worked for me in my life.
Just 2 right here 👇
I STOPPED MAKING VIDEOS AND MADE ALL PRIVATE.
Then essentially the next 16 months, exactly 1.4 years, I did absolutely nothing, just ate junk food, buckets of ice-cream, etc. watched a bunch of movies and youtube videos all day, all my growth went stagnant.
I dont remember that phase of my life, cause I did nothing, I didnt see light, i woke up, ate, watched content, watched other peoples life on instagram and slept.
yea I tried bio-hacking in there for a bit,
all days combined for like 5 months in those 16, but never consistent,
it was like 10 good hacked days, then 1 week of bad habits and so on....
also worked on a few things like ycca.in, and contentdrivenleads
but nothing much, all failed.
I HAVE all the disgusting video and photo proof of all those bad times too, but thats for some other self-improvement youtube video on my channel.
at this time I was lost, had nothing to do, hence just took 2 months, restructured the company operations, hired sales guys, completely automated the company, and decided that moving to dubai would be the best decision to collect and grow all my future wealth.
Now, hence here I am, moved out, living alone and leased my first apartment at age 18 in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in dubai.
Now that I have got a cash-flowing business running completely on auto-pilot on the side,
the plan is to go back to my first love, youtube.
Give out all the knowledge and education that I have gained with my experience and share my story as it progresses into my 20s and beyond.
With 1 single aim of changing thousands of lives showing them the power of internet, consistency, and HARD WORK.
